Prince David Oladejo Babalola a native of ancient Ilobu town born in Osogbo Osun State November 16th 1933.
Prince Babalola 90, in his youthful days as a socialite is the secretary of defunct Oroki Social Club of Osogbo. He was eulogies by the late legend apala musician ALHJI HARUNA ISHOLA BABA N GANI AGBA (MON) in his song with the lyrics, ALAFE NI E DEJO BABALOLA SECRETARY EGBE WON NI; OROKI SOCIAL CLUB ILU OSOGBO.
According to him "As a trained teacher I returned from University of Ibadan I returned with the distinction I served under T A BABALOLA, he's from ATAN AYEGBAJU while I'm from ILOBU ,then he gave me special role in the school from there envy began but I overcame the storm".
"I was at Grade II college from 1964 till 1980 teaching where I thought student likes of ELEJIGBO OF EJIGBO LAND OBA OMOWUNUOLA OYESOSIN. HE attended my 90th birthday. Also, I taught OLOKO OF OKO LAND ,OBA SOLOMON OYEYODE IJAGUN . To mention but few."
"I retired voluntarily when I clocked 30 years in service. My pension fund was N14, 000.00 per month up till now.
"In 1981 I joined Total Oil, now Total Energies as manager now . I was posted to Dugbe, Ibadan. I worked with Total Oil till 1984. I resigned during Buhari/Idiagbon regime in 1984 when they enacted a decree tthat anyone diverting petrol would be arrested. I have to resign because I don't want to go to jail, that was the reason for my resignation in 1984".
"I withdrew all my money from Total Oil. I bought tipper ,i also began sand business and established KEMI BLOCK INDUSTRY here in Osogbo .I named the industry after my last born.
Later, I sold the block firm for #5M in other to pay my children school fees. when I received the huge amount, I said "MO BO AYE meaning ( I'm in life" Initially). After the sale, I bought a land for one thousand naira. See what God has done for me invest, the money on land which was lucrative".

Some of our executive have received glorious calling, while some are still alive. Those who died are OLAWALE OLADIRAN (PRESIDENT), KOLAPO IGBALEYE (VICE PRESIDENT), RASHEED IGBALAYE (FINANCIAL SECRETARY), ADISA OLAYIWOLA (SOCIAL SECRETARY), NB: Haruna Ishola mistakenly wrote Adisa Olawale instead of Adisa Olayiwola, (Point of Correction), OLADIMEJI DOKUN (MEMBER), LIASU RAJI (MEMBER), GANIYU ADESOKAN (MEMBER), TIAMIYU ALARAPE (MEMBER) AND IBRAHIM SALAMI (MEMBER), Sule Dawodu (Assistant Secretary), Hamzat Adekola (Member), Ganiyu Oyedele (Member), Ganiyu Owolabi and Ganiyu Sobaloju both are Member(s). of blessed memory.

Prince Deji Babalola continues, “ We felt very sad when we heard announcement of Haruna Ishola’s Death in 1983. Uptill now, the living Oroki Social Club members are still morning him because of his wisdom, philosophy also a patriotic Nigerian, He concluded.
"I have many children and grandchildren I thank God for my life.
