Ahead of the 2nd edition of Ogun Women Run, organizers of the 5KM road race, Brussels Sports Management Limited held a training session for volunteers at the MKO Abiola stadium, Abeokuta.
Race Director, Mr. Ebidowei Oweifie who coordinated the training session said volunteers form an integral part of every road race, hence the need to put them through the Modus Operandi of what's applicable globally.
He said "The volunteers have key roles to play, and for every event we organize, we are always very strict with rules, now we are set and good to go".
Mr. Oweifie assured that the organizers are aware of people's expectation based on the quality witnessed during the first edition and will not disappoint.
The event will take place in Abeokuta on Saturday, July 8, 2023, it will flag off in Sapon and terminate at the MKO stadium, ABEOKUTA.
