The Ogun State Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated the management and technical staff of Remo Stars Football Club, Ikenne-Remo for the club's qualification for Super 6 play-off.
The team's qualification for the NPFL Super 6 was not by sheer luck, but a dint of hard work, dedication, and commitment of both players, technical staff, and management of the club to redefine football management in Nigeria and put the state on the world map again.
It is our hope that, Remo Stars will do well during the qualifying series and win the ticket to represent the country in next season's continental competition which will once again put Ogun state on the world map.
The association urges the players to continue to work with determination and motivation to maintain the momentum displayed during the abridged league season and avoid any mistake that could hamper their continental ticket qualification.
SWAN used the opportunity to callon Ogun state government to study the developmental stride of Remo Stars to form an economically viable football team that will compete for honours and justify the taxpayers money.
