The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council commiserates with the Governor of Ogun State on the demise of a banker extraordinaire, entrepreneur of no mean order, culture icon, impeccable fashionista, and unparalleled philanthropist, Otunba Olasubomi Balogun who passed on at the age of at 89.
The Union mourn the passage of Chief Subomi Balogun who was a devoted Christian, a loving father and husband, as well as a lover of Ijebuland.
Otunba Tunwase, a man of many parts,as a lawyer, a banker, a successful businessman, Asiwaju Onigbagbo and Olori Omooba of Ijebuland.
Ogun State have lost a rare gem whose contributions to the socio-economic development of Ijebuland and Ogun State can not be without mention.
The Union prays God Almighty give the state, Ijebu Land and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
