The Local Organising Committee for the National Sports Festival tagged Delta 2022 has assured Participants of it's readiness to any address health challenges during the festival.
The Head of Stephen keshi stadium medical team Dr Enebe Anthony who gave this assurance said 450 medical personnel are on ground to attend to participant during the games .
He further revealed that LOC has provided 30 ambulance for the games .
"We have been preparing for the games since 6 months and all our personnel consisting of Doctors,Nurses, pharmacist,medical Laboratory scientist, physiotherapists and Technicians have undergone training before the commencement of the games.On a daily basis we attend to close to 200 patients a day mostly due to exhaustion ..
Dr Anthony revealed that the LOC have also conducted various medical test ranging from malaria test to Covid 19.
"We have conducted test on some patients to ascertain nature of thier illness . The outcome of the test will enable us what is wrong with the patients .
Meanwhile Asaba specialist hospital and Federal Medical Centre are designated hospital for the National Sports Festival.
