Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has commissioned the newly renovated Ogun State House of Assembly Complex, marking the completion of a 45-year-old structure’s transformation. The project, which was initiated to address the deteriorating condition of the complex, fulfills a promise made by the governor during the 2024 budget presentation.
Governor Abiodun emphasized that the renovation was a commitment to provide lawmakers with a more conducive working environment. The revamped complex now features modern facilities, including ensuite offices and reliable water supply for members, replacing the outdated and overcrowded amenities of the past.
The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, expressed appreciation for the renovation, highlighting the positive impact on the relationship between the Executive and Legislature. He also assured that members would work towards the speedy passage of the 2025 appropriation bill presented by the governor.
