Gateway United FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Festus Allen as the new head coach for the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League season.
The unveiling ceremony, held at Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, was presided over by the Ogun State Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, who officially presented Coach Allen with the club's jersey.
Joining Coach Allen in the technical crew are:
- Shakiru Lawal – Assistant Coach 1
- Emmanuel Bamidele – Assistant Coach 2
- Michael Soniregun– Goalkeeping Coach
Hon. Wasiu Isiaka urged the technical crew to give their utmost in their new roles, assuring them of the full support of the entire state to achieve success.

During the unveiling, Coach Allen shared his vision and dedication:

With over 25 years of coaching experience, Coach Allen is a proven tactician with an impressive track record, including guiding ABS FC from the amateur division to the Nigeria's top-flight league. A former coach of 3SC, MFM FC, Bayelsa United, and Ijebu United among others, he is renowned for his ability to identify and develop young talents".
His philosophy is rooted in creating a team capable of competing on the global stage, and his expertise in the game’s rules and dedication to excellence align perfectly with the aspirations of Gateway United FC.
The management led by the acting General Manager, Niyi Soleye calls on fans to extend a warm welcome to Coach Allen and his team.
