The Akwa Ibom State Football Association has extended heartfelt congratulations to Akwa United midfielder, Paulinus Okon, for his remarkable achievement in graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Uyo.
Paulinus, a talented king midfielder for the 2021 NPFL champions, earned a Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) of 4.50 and was named the 2021/2022 Best Graduating Student in his department during the university’s 29th/30th convocation ceremonies. His accomplishment has made him the first student in his department to graduate with a First Class degree, further cementing his place as an inspiration to young athletes.
In reaction to Paulinus' achievement, the Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Football Association, Mr. Samuel Umoh, praised the midfielder for being a role model to other young footballers in the state.
