In continuation of his philanthropic gesture, Engr. Abdulganiyu Manna, roll out relief items and cash to widows, old ages and students of his political zone, Ode-Balogun in Ajikobi ward.
The empowerment was part of the gesture and good legacy of late Baba Saraki, inherited by Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki to show concern to the less privileged and the needy across his zone.
The empowerment program which was held on Sunday 11th at Balogun Ajikobi compound, featured distribution of food stuffs and cash grant to 30 beneficiaries who were drawn from different households that make up the Ode-Balogun zone in Ajikobi ward.
The empowerment coordinator, Mr Abdulhameed Ajikobi who is also the zonal chairman of Ode-balogun, while speaking explained that the gesture was as a way of giving back to the society.
He described Engr. Abdulganiyu Manna as a man who prioritize the well being of his people, adding that he is a blessing to the entire Ilorin Emirate.
Engr. Manna explained that, “We are giving out food and cash to the needy in order to relief them from the hardship of the country’s economy.”
He therefore advised the beneficiaries not to commercialized the items given to them, noting that they were selected based on their lacks.
However, the PDP gubernatorial candidate ably represented by Hon. Salaudeen Adewole who speaks briefly during the empowerment program thank all members of the zone and remind them of their unusual act which led to the hardship and current situation of the state by voting for a mediocre, Raman, as Governor of the state.
He urges the zone to troup out in mass for the collection of their PVC which has already been registered because that is the only weapon to vote out Abdulrahman led administration and APC party out of office in the forthcoming elections.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries in their numbers, appreciate Engr. Abdulganiyu Manna for his kind generosity, praying to God to replenish his pocket and grant him more years.
